Consumers are asking for healthier beverages with clean-label ingredients. That’s why Javo is helping foodservice outlets meet this demand by launching new lemonade-based energy drinks and premium flavored iced teas.

According to Datassential, 80% of consumers show interest in functional beverages, which is why we’ve expanded into this category. Each 12-ounce serving of our energy lemonades contains what’s right there in the name—energy!—in the form of 100 mg of caffeine and 100 mg of L-theanine. And they taste great, too, with trending flavor profiles of pomegranate pineapple, peach honey and blackberry lemon.
“Our energy lemonades are different from anything on the shelf. We’re thinking ‘outside the can’ to benefit our foodservice operators,” said Chris Johnson, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We offer a hand-mix format that delivers menu development flexibility and the ability for the restaurant or brand to ‘own’ the beverage.”
“We’re also introducing three new iced tea flavors to reinvigorate category sales, which have been on the decline in foodservice for several years,” Johnson continued. “We believe the long-term success of iced tea lives in flavor innovation and leaning into the healthy halo of tea to attract younger consumers.” Our new iced tea features black tea from Argentina and Indonesia and hibiscus tea. Flavors include the emerging Blood Orange, a tropical mash-up in Mango Guava, and the herbal Peach Ginger Hibiscus. A recent Datassential pricing study shows premium iced teas yielding higher median price points when compared with traditional, unflavored iced teas. “We see more and more younger consumers demanding a wider variety of beverages, even replacing alcoholic beverages with non-alcoholic options,” Johnson said. “These new products will the gap on beverage menus while helping our foodservice partners attract younger consumers and add profits.” Learn more about our Energy Lemonades and Iced Teas.
